What a fabulous hotel: beautiful outside and inside; the rooms were beautifully decorated, the beds mega comfortable, We had one of best view in our whole stay in Albania: who can have a bath with a view on an illuminated castle! Stunning. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful; we booked the junior room the first night but it was noisy as on the first floor right above some bars; so the second night we were moved to another which was super quiet with outstanding views. Breakfast was really good. A shame it was raining as we coudlnt enjoy having breakfast on the great terrasse. But as everything is beautiful as soon as you walk outside, it wasnt such a big deal. Their restaurant is delicious too.

The terrace near the room offered a wonderful view of the city and the castle. The staff was friendly and very supportive. You can enjoy the breakfast served on the terrace. I would recommend Hotel Kalemin 2 to all visitors and families with children who want to visit Gjirokastra.

The location was fantastic! Very central to all the key sites in Gjirokastër. The roof terrace was lovely with a perfect view of the castle. Our room was comfortable and spacious and the breakfast was nice. The hotel also provided really useful directions from the main road which made finding the property easy (Google maps didn’t seem to cope well in the city streets!) and there was good parking.
